E2 is definitely my favorite mechanism. Such a beautiful mechanism really…Even if E1 is close, I just like how everything happens in one step, heh. This diagram doesn’t do it justice; I’m just too lazy to scan the molecular orbital diagram so you can really see how awesome E2 is.
